We live in a world spiraling through time to an appointed meeting with the One who set everything in motion. The family is being challenged on nearly every front by the media, politically, educationally, by crumbling morals, and by those who have lost the ability to discern truth or see God. Many searches for answers, often wandering in the darkness, not knowing where to find peace and safety, and the blind are leading the blind into a ditch.
There are eternal truths we can find if we seek them-if we can recognize them.
The Narrow Path Trilogy weaves threads from before the dawn of time, when angels rebelled and the dark, broken days of Earth began. In order for a marriage and a family to survive the tribulation, the reign of terror of the Emperor, the children’s prison, the re-education camp, trans-humanism, the horrors of war, PTSD, super soldiers, genetic engineering, artificial intelligence, the great deception and falling away, betrayal of family and friends and the love of many growing cold; deep faith in God and extreme courage are required.
Manhunt is the first book in the Narrow Path Trilogy It will lead you on a journey through an ancient garden towards a celestial city, using the genre of Christian fiction to remind us of the principles we know are true. It allows us to remember them, to find them, and ultimately takes us on the narrow path towards our eternal home. God did not promise it would be easy. He said the days ahead would be the worst the people of Earth have ever seen. But He did tell us He would never leave us or forsake us. He alone has the words of life. He bids us follow. Once on this path you will never be the same. Come…

God took an abandoned, fearful child and is using her life to show the impossible is possible when our lives are surrendered to Him. He can do more than we ask or think.
For months I have seen so many lacking faith, in God, in themselves and in life in general. Many losing a loved one, someone they cared for and loved no matter how hard things got in their lives and I am not exempt myself… Its about having faith, when all else seems lost and about finding hope as we live our lives in what seems to be a strange and new world. It seems like everything is changing at a fast pace, one that some of us never thought we would see in our lifetimes. Evil seems ever advancing and Good seems to be fading, as so many of you are losing hope in those things you faith in, in the past. There is hope…
For me it is and always has been in God, in his provision and protection as I walk through this life. Because I know that without a doubt, to life without him would have been a place I would not have wanted to be. It was hard enough as the trials of life came and went, at times washing over me and leaving me with a feeling like I would be overcome by each thing that happened. Reminding myself that as each thing happened that God was there, that he heard my prayers and cared about what I was going through. Yet in each thing that challenged my faith, I was again and again relying on Him and His Word to get me through things. I heard a sermon last sunday from Psalms 103 about speaking to our souls, telling them to bless the Lord. At times, I felt as you probably have ” How can I bless the Lord when my heart is so feeling the emotion of something tragic in my life happening” We don’t have the joy or the passion to just sing out and praise God, because we are deeply hurt and we feel their is no hope in the future. When everything looks and feels so gloom and doom in our lives. But in reality, this is the time that we really need to take hold of our faith and reach out to God, Cry out to Him and Bless His Holy Name and Praise Him for everything he has brought us through.
If your not born again or a christian, you might not know or have faith and I hope for those of you who are not and your reading this, that you consider Him. Consider just who it is that has brought you this far in life… There is something stronger then yourself that has brought you to where you are now… It is no mistake that your here reading my post today… Yes as crazy as it seems even to me, God has brought you here to this place, in this time, to find Hope!
This morning as I considered what I would do today, writing wasn’t one of those things. For months I have just felt led to slow down, live life one day at a time and not do more then just what I could do in a day. Yes that is how much I felt like I needed to just take time to find a way to live life, seeking the Lord’s help in so many areas where I was grieving and felt a deep and utter lose in my life. Time and time again I would say, this is not my life, this is not where I am suppose to be and surely the things happening around me, to me… well I didn’t ask for any of it… In 4 years time, the lose of my best friend in death, the death of my Dad, what seems to be the lose of my marriage (that’s a whole nother post) Losing our home of 13 years (The place I raised my children, brought my youngest home from the hospital to, the place that held so many memories for me, where life was lived with grandkids and where the most beautiful sunsets were seen, where we were close to the beach and could go anytime, but mostly where I grew in my faith with the Lord, probably more then ever in my life) and Two more children leaving the nest, as it was time they learned to fly… Putting my business I was building on the back burner as I adapted yet again to changes happening in our lives… Our lives, because for the first time it is just myself and my youngest son living this life together. Thankfully Daniel and I have always been close, he is growing up fast and will become a teenager in two short months! Challenges and more challenges in life…
Trials come and go… and yet somehow on a daily basis we each find a way to get through them. We have those certain people we talk to , confide in and also those that seem to guide us through life… God puts each person in our path for a reason and nothing is left to chance… It was destiny or we were destined to meet each one, to learn from, to love even if later they are not there anymore to guide us along our way… No one is there forever. But God… at least for me. He has been in my life for so long now 50 years to my memory.
I was born into a christian home, dysfunctional as it seemed to be, my parents believed in God. They were not perfect, but none of us are… We are all on a journey of growing and learning… I have never expected my parents to be perfect and though at times I held them to a standard that perhaps they didn’t know about and maybe they couldn’t meet up to… but they were there for me, My mom I often saw reading her bible when I was younger and my Dad though he had likes and hobbies he was always there to talk to, He on occasion taught at church and my mom taught sunday school when I was growing up. They had a small group of friends and when I look back, I know how blessed I was to grow up in the time I did… it wasn’t as crazy as today! But at the age of 6, I realized I was not perfect and that I needed the Jesus I learned of weekly to forgive me and guide me through this life. I had even at that age done wrong, disobeyed my parents and broken the commandments of God. Yes the 10 commandments you use to hear about, that no longer seem to be the guild others follow and the ones everyone want to cast aside as they muddle through this life wandering aimlessly. I don’t look back on my life like so many thinking that my parents raised me wrong, or that they were controlling, because really they were not… They were trying to guide me to becoming a better person. A person who lived rightly, someone who cared about the lives of others and who had enough faith to see me through this life. I don’t like kids of today think my mind was manipulated and controlled or that my parents were narcissistic, if you think us parents are to be live and let live with ou kids, I want you to know that letting you make your own choices constantly will bring you nothing but heartache and pain at times. If you think making your own mistakes is what you want, it might lead to your own lose in life or lose of life or at least one that is far harder than it has to be. I realize that somehow at the magic age of teenagehood, you all just somehow got far smarter then your aging parents and knew all there was to know about life and living it. But… I grew up in a time where we loved, honored and obeyed those in authority in our home. Not out of fear, but out of love for them. I am sure there were times they feel from grace (God’s grace) but we all do… It is not about being perfect. There are none perfect, except Jesus Christ himself. That same Jesus that my parents loved and had joy in reading about, praying to and depending on… Because when times were hard for them, us… that is who they turned to. It worked for them and for 50 years it has worked for me, no matter what the issues of life have been. I don’t know everything, nor do I claim to, but I do have 56 years of experience in this life, that tells me God is real to me, He knows what he is doing and that I can depend on Him and I believe so can you….
I know that we are facing what seems to be hard times… Illness has taken many from us and we are all wondering what the future holds… Some of us have lost our homes, our loved ones and have little to no food and the future seems uncertain, but today I want to encourage you to hold on and to have faith , find hope in the only one that really cares for you…
Right now I know who holds the future and as we wait out this election and the results, we need to put or faith and hope in someone that is sure and truly has our best interests at heart and that is God himself… Because he is faithful and dependable…
If you don’t know God I encourage you to seek Him, ask him to show himself to you in a real and personal way. Grab a KJV Bible and read John 3: 16 and read the new testament to get to know who Jesus is and what God can do for you and as always, if you need prayer leave me a comment or you can email me at email@example.com
Today this virus became more personal for me… As of today my nephew and his wife have this Coronavirus and their baby girl is at home with them in quarantine…
With so many sick and dying from this, it really gets to your heart when your own family has it and as I sent out a plea for prayer on their behalf today, It grieves me. I am Mama to 7, Grandma to 11 so far… and it is these souls that matter most to me! But also the souls of those in this world that need to hear the truth of God’s Love and the peace that only he can give in the midst of this pandemic. One that God calls pestilence and will be common in the end times. It troubles my heart that so many do not know this peace and I long so share with anyone what the Lord has done for me and the joy and peace he has given me in the midst of trials and hard times.
It was just a little over a month ago that I myself was suffering from the Flu, best I can tell. Fever, Body Aches and Pains, Headache, Weakness, Fatigue for weeks and Sinus issues and coughing. You know you don’t feel well and you somehow carry on and live life doing what is needed of you as a mom, wife, daughter, and friend to others. just because six of my seven children is grown and out of my home, doesn’t mean I do not worry about them, I think I worry just as much. But I do trust the Lord to keep them and to sustain us through everything and I mean everything. Love constrains me to feel for them when they are suffering or going through trials of their own. I am also the mama of type 1 diabetic son and with the price of insulin and the lack of it, I pray and do war for him in a way, seeking those that are willing to pay it forward with supplies that save my son’s life daily. ( I will be always thankful for those folks, Angels who show up and say I can help) Thankful to the Lord God for sending His Angels who have charge over us and bear us up, when we would be in such turmoil and need. We have done this trip of diabetes since he was 11 years old and now he is married to a wonderful wife and has 3 children of his own. This makes his life even more precious to them and to me… God is so merciful for blessing me with such a son, actually with 3 sons… and 4 daughters!
So when I feel overwhelmed by the trials and sickness of others and with the events of the day… it is to the Lord I am turning in prayer and in tears… Crying out ” Lord Help Us All” and I am pleading the Blood of Christ over my children and I am recalling all these promises to me as a Mama and as a believer. I know that God hears me and that my prayers don’t go answered. I find my peace in prayer, in listening to godly music and in the reading of His Word. Spending my time doing things that I know make a difference in the lives of my children and in the lives of others. As a girl, I use to see my own Mom, reading the Word and Praying in our livingroom. This left an impression on me that this was the right thing to do growing up. Not just because she did it, but because she drew from it her power to hold on in the hardest times of our lives. When times got hard, when marriage got hard, she prayed and read the word. She also sang and so music was always heard in our home. She would have on WMHR and we heard the Word preached and sang on a daily basis. This also gives me great strength when I am worshipping the Father in Heaven. When I can praise Him through the pain I am feeling in this life and let his promises flow through me in song and find Him there with me.
Perhaps if you don’t know Him, you can’t feel his presence, but I assure you he is there and when we praise Him when we call upon Him, He is listening and hears each word, the faintest whisper, the silent tear fall…
If you don’t know Him, pray and ask Him to reveal himself to you in a personal way… All those that seek Him shall find Him and all those that call upon Him shall find Him faithful and All those that call upon His Name ( Jesus ) for Salvation, shall be saved. No matter what we have done wrong in this life, Jesus is there waiting for you… He is there to forgive you when you are ready to repent and He is there to help you walk in Faith… All it takes is believing that He is who he says he is and that He will Forgive and Guide you into a life of joy and happiness. A life of peace with Him and with the Father and He will send the Comforter to guide you and give you the peace that only he can give you and in this life, it is the greatest peace you can ever find…
One of the biggest blessings that come from a life hidden in Christ is the security He gives you.
You don’t have to be in charge of dishing out justice or leveling the score. You don’t have to fret when someone gets what you want or doesn’t treat you like they should have.
And goodness, there is freedom in this. You can trust that the grace of Jesus has given you far more than you could ever articulate. If you really understand this grace, you’ll want to extend that grace to everyone.
Trust that having and being in Jesus is so much better than the bitter endeavor to set all things right. Trust that He is your Portion and that nobody can reduce that. Trust that His grace has covered more ugliness in you than you can even acknowledge.
Now that doesn’t mean you won’t battle some hard emotions about it. It means that when you do, His Spirit can transform these insecurities and help you walk through them. Ask Jesus for help.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Rom 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Rom 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

(The following graphics were made by me for a friend while doing my review of this website and are not for anyone else’s use or sharing) these are my own personal work and placed here as examples only.
I have to say that I really enjoy this site and this service that they offer! They have Custom Creator for graphics design and Custom Video Creator for promotional videos.
” Time is money!”
Being able to create highly effective graphics for promotions yourself without hiring a graphic artist can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars yearly. I know I use to hire my webmistress to do a lot of my artwork years ago! I use to pay $25 even for a small button for my website and that was 20 years ago and over $1000 for a simple website! So you see Artwork is not cheap and here we are 20 years later and the prices have gone up and as I well know in my line of work, the demand has risen also!
We all need to see the value in the time one spends on creating art for the purpose of promotion! Everyone’s time is very valuable! So whether your the Author, the Artist or a Blogger, your time is worth something and I believe this website and its services will save you money as you strive to create the best promotional artwork!
It will also save you time, giving you more time to spend with your family or doing other fun and enjoyable things in life!
Graphics Creation and Ease of Use
I was able to create some very nice graphics without much instruction. I did find a few things more challenging but with Book Brush’s tutorial videos, it was so easy to learn to use all the advantages this site offers in the creative process.
I was able to create clear and highly effective graphics for use on several platforms in just a short amount of time. I think this would be easy enough for any author to use. But if you are pressed for time it would be ok to allow someone like myself to make these for you, for book promotion. So easy a kid could use this!!!
Honestly, I have seen some authors, as well as bloggers, that have no clue what is eye appealing and this could sadly cause the loss of many sales. It is not always easy for some to see what is truly eye appealing and what will sell a book! And some folks just have no artistic ability in this area… Always ask when you are not sure!
This site has an area for creating videos for promotion and I can see where they could be used for reviews of bloggers on their website or on youtube as well.
I really liked this site for graphics creation, it is a great site for even the novice.

Hi, Linda! Thank you so much for having me on your blog! I am so excited to share my brand new novella with your readers. It is part of the Lessons on Love schoolteacher historical romance collection by Barbour which just released this week Oct 1.
I had a lot of fun researching for my novella “Something Old, Something New” to recreate an early 19th century New York village along the Hudson River within a day’s travel to New York City. Westchester County is a large and wealthy county which earned that distinction early in its history. By 1840 the Erie Canal had been operational for several years, only increasing commerce up the Hudson to the waterway that would link east to west. The land was rich in timber and natural resources. Its natural sylvan beauty inspired an art movement—the Hudson River School of Art, and the American literary classics of novelist Washington Irving.
Into this setting, I dropped a culture of Old Dutch Reform catechism, and a thriving community of Jewish scholars, artisans, and professionals. These diverse backgrounds provide chemistry aplenty between the hero and heroine. Joshua Blake is the nephew of the town mayor, and though he comes from the traditions of the hardworking and practical Dutch, he brings the influence of New York revivalist Charles Finney, his mentor. Joshua represents the new, bringing fresh thought, fresh ambitions and fresh energy to a village set in its ways. Golda Jacobs represents something old, the traditions of her family, her scholarly upbringing, and the Torah.
The story opens up as Golda mourns the loss of her father, the beloved community schoolmaster, on a prescribed day of mourning which happens to coincide with a high Jewish Holy Day, Yom Kippur. Prior to this, the Jewish calendar begins the New Year on Rosh Hashana and the time between the two is known as the Ten Days of Awe, a time of introspection and self-evaluation in preparation for The Day of Atonement. It is ten days wherein a believer can repent and change their destiny for the new year, but on Yom Kippur, the books are closed and one’s fate is sealed.
It is on this fateful day that Golda meets Joshua, and their course is set—their academic course, as well as their destiny. The mayor wants his nephew to teach, but Golda isn’t ready to relinquish her father’s desk and curriculum. Sparks will fly, igniting a fire that will reach the whole community. Can love, cooperation, and common ground allow new and old to coincide and even thrive?
Four schoolteachers find more than they bargained for in their contracts. Class is in session on the four R’s: reading, ‘riting, ‘rithmatic, and romance!
Something Old, Something New by Kathleen L. Maher

ABOUT THE BOOK
Title: Love Comes Softly Series: Love Comes Softly #1 Author: Janette Oke Publisher: Bethany House Genre: Historical/Frontier Romance Release Date: August 6, 2019 (orig. 1979)
First published in 1979, Janette Oke’s beloved classic launched a new wave of inspirational fiction and inspired and captivated readers with its endearing story of loss and love. Adapted for television in 2003 by the Hallmark Channel, it went on to become one of their most watched films ever. Millions have laughed, wept, and rejoiced with Marty and Clark Davis, whose tragic circumstances threw them together, suddenly and unexpectedly, on the frontier prairies of the late 1800s.
She ventured west with the man she loved, but in one day her whole world had crumbled around her…
Porch lights. They mark the night with their white-yellow glow. Some beckon. Some warn. Some burn to protect those on the inside from the shadows that lurk on the edges of the darkness.
For some, their porch lights shine like the star of hope against a cobalt sky. They bathe the night with their light and wash the sleeping home with quiet. All is well. All is bright.
There are a handful of porch lights that will never go out. They can’t. They went on one evening when that son or daughter stormed out into the thickness and blackness of the cold. The door slammed. The feet pounded across the wooden planks of the porch and then disappeared beyond the light’s half circle.
It’s been a long time. For some, months. Others, years. There are a few who have put a decade of running between them and that porch light. The prayers on the inside haven’t stopped. The hope might have fainted and faltered a few times, but it’s still there.
That’s why the light still burns…….and will keep burning. It’s a God thing. It’s a Redeemer thing. Grace-based homes are not homes without sin or regrets. They are just homes where, no matter what, you can’t be written off. They are homes where young and restless hearts are free to be different, vulnerable, and candid. They’re allowed to make mistakes. Huge ones sometimes. But because grace is inside, the front porch light will always glow outside.
Regardless of why they left, they can always come back. Regardless of where they went, they can always come home. And regardless of what they did, they can always come in.”
