In the not too distant future… Wars, plagues, and famines ravage the world, immorality and violence are rampant, and the Bible is outlawed. Angelica Smoke, a single mother and cocktail waitress, ascends the steps of a megachurch to deliver a message from God to the one man she hoped to never see again.

That message thrusts world-famous pastor Daniel Cain into a whirlwind of confusion, causing him to seek out Angelica and demand an explanation. But the woman broke his heart once and is now involved in a fanatical cult. Even being seen with her could damage his career. Still, he cannot stay away, and the more time he spends with her, the more he begins to doubt everything he believes.

Angelica is a seer. God grants her visions of the future, but she has no idea what to do with them. Her top priority is protecting her son—from the world, the culture, the devil, and especially from Daniel. But God keeps throwing them together, causing her fears to rise and reopening old wounds that threaten to tear her soul apart. Angels watch over the couple, protecting and hoping they will make the right choices. But the angels are limited in what they can do as the end of the age comes to a close and the spiritual battles intensify, not only for Angelica and Daniel, but for all humanity.

Not since the Left Behind series has there been a more compelling and eye-opening novel. Taut, tense, and totally unpredictable, When Angels Cry is a powerful love story not only for the heart and soul, but one for the ages—especially the age to come. — Julie Lessman, award-winning author of the Daughters of Boston, Winds of Change, and Isle of Hope series.

Action-packed and thrilling, When Angels Cry is not only a great read but a thought-provoking tale. In the flavor of Peretti and Left Behind, this story paints a vivid picture of what things might be like in the last days. ~ Michelle Griep, author of The Captive Heart & Brentwood’s Ward Amazon Categories >Suspense >Contemporary Romance >Inspirational Romance >Christian Romance

My Review

Being a sincere believer in the Lord God, I was drawn to this end-times story… I will admit that I had a very hard time picking up a book and getting into the storyline after my Dad passed. But I started to read ” When Angels Cry ” and was unable to put it down. We all long to know details of what is going to happen as we see the time of the Lord’s return drawing closer… This started to become more real to me in reading this engaging story. I could really relate with the characters, especially Angelica as a single mom, in a time when nothing seemed stable and trials were had at every turn in life. Being a single mom with a teenage son can be a challenge for sure. ( I love and am close to my son Daniel and we are close ) Much of this story tugged at my heart, having been a single mom a few times in my life. Our desire to protect, teach and guide our children, is a great calling in this life!

I had never given thought to what roles angels play in our lives, though I knew they were real and in the bible, it says that God ” He gives his angels charge over us “. Marylu brings this into seeing how they interact in our lives for good or evil. Yes, there are good ” guardian angels ” and evil ” fallen angels ” who are involved in our lives daily guiding and protecting us or those that are waiting for us to fall and fail in our walk with the Lord, through trials and temptations. If you never thought of them being intimately involved in your day-to-day living of life, this will change your mind and make you consider areas of your life, where angels will be present.

MaryLu brings this story with its twists and turns to life as only she can do! Her writing style and attention to detail will draw you into the story, making you feel like you are right there, at the beach or at work as Angelica herself! MaryLu’s ability to build relationships between characters with an intriguing yet at times heart-racing tale will keep you reading for hours! I didn’t want to put this book down, even when life dictated I must!

If you are not a believer… I hope you will consider faith in a new light after reading ” When Angels Cry ” I hope that this book will bring you to a place as it did me where I had to consider things unseen, but yet real… If you are a believer… This will challenge your faith and through Angelica’s life and trials and her love for others, challenge you to walk in love and to share your own journey with others…

As times become more full of trails and at times dangerous… What choices will you make? What will we endure? Will be remain strong without fear or will be buckle under the pressures of life?

Though this story was written in 2017, It will grip your heart, bring you through a mix of emotions and cause you to feel it was written today…

If you are looking for a tale to warm your heart, mind, and soul this winter, you will want to get this on Kindle while it is free! (Jan 16th thru 20th) The sequel comes out really soon! You can pre-Order ” When Angel’s Battle ” Today

Enjoy!

MANHUNT: Only the Strong Survive (The Narrow Path Trilogy) by Rena Groot

Manhunt…

Available on Kindle and Paperback https://amzn.to/36hzjz7

We live in a world spiraling through time to an appointed meeting with the One who set everything in motion. The family is being challenged on nearly every front by the media, politically, educationally, by crumbling morals, and by those who have lost the ability to discern truth or see God. Many searches for answers, often wandering in the darkness, not knowing where to find peace and safety, and the blind are leading the blind into a ditch.

There are eternal truths we can find if we seek them-if we can recognize them.

The Narrow Path Trilogy weaves threads from before the dawn of time, when angels rebelled and the dark, broken days of Earth began. In order for a marriage and a family to survive the tribulation,  the reign of terror of the Emperor, the children’s prison, the re-education camp, trans-humanism, the horrors of war, PTSD, super soldiers, genetic engineering, artificial intelligence,  the great deception and falling away, betrayal of family and friends and the love of many growing cold; deep faith in God and extreme courage are required.

Manhunt is the first book in the Narrow Path Trilogy It will lead you on a journey through an ancient garden towards a celestial city, using the genre of Christian fiction to remind us of the principles we know are true. It allows us to remember them, to find them, and ultimately takes us on the narrow path towards our eternal home. God did not promise it would be easy. He said the days ahead would be the worst the people of Earth have ever seen. But He did tell us He would never leave us or forsake us. He alone has the words of life. He bids us follow. Once on this path you will never be the same. Come…

Having Faith, Finding Hope…

For months I have seen so many lacking faith, in God, in themselves and in life in general. Many losing a loved one, someone they cared for and loved no matter how hard things got in their lives and I am not exempt myself… Its about having faith, when all else seems lost and about finding hope as we live our lives in what seems to be a strange and new world. It seems like everything is changing at a fast pace, one that some of us never thought we would see in our lifetimes. Evil seems ever advancing and Good seems to be fading, as so many of you are losing hope in those things you faith in, in the past. There is hope…

For me it is and always has been in God, in his provision and protection as I walk through this life. Because I know that without a doubt, to life without him would have been a place I would not have wanted to be. It was hard enough as the trials of life came and went, at times washing over me and leaving me with a feeling like I would be overcome by each thing that happened. Reminding myself that as each thing happened that God was there, that he heard my prayers and cared about what I was going through. Yet in each thing that challenged my faith, I was again and again relying on Him and His Word to get me through things. I heard a sermon last sunday from Psalms 103 about speaking to our souls, telling them to bless the Lord. At times, I felt as you probably have ” How can I bless the Lord when my heart is so feeling the emotion of something tragic in my life happening” We don’t have the joy or the passion to just sing out and praise God, because we are deeply hurt and we feel their is no hope in the future. When everything looks and feels so gloom and doom in our lives. But in reality, this is the time that we really need to take hold of our faith and reach out to God, Cry out to Him and Bless His Holy Name and Praise Him for everything he has brought us through.

If your not born again or a christian, you might not know or have faith and I hope for those of you who are not and your reading this, that you consider Him. Consider just who it is that has brought you this far in life… There is something stronger then yourself that has brought you to where you are now… It is no mistake that your here reading my post today… Yes as crazy as it seems even to me, God has brought you here to this place, in this time, to find Hope!

This morning as I considered what I would do today, writing wasn’t one of those things. For months I have just felt led to slow down, live life one day at a time and not do more then just what I could do in a day. Yes that is how much I felt like I needed to just take time to find a way to live life, seeking the Lord’s help in so many areas where I was grieving and felt a deep and utter lose in my life. Time and time again I would say, this is not my life, this is not where I am suppose to be and surely the things happening around me, to me… well I didn’t ask for any of it… In 4 years time, the lose of my best friend in death, the death of my Dad, what seems to be the lose of my marriage (that’s a whole nother post) Losing our home of 13 years (The place I raised my children, brought my youngest home from the hospital to, the place that held so many memories for me, where life was lived with grandkids and where the most beautiful sunsets were seen, where we were close to the beach and could go anytime, but mostly where I grew in my faith with the Lord, probably more then ever in my life) and Two more children leaving the nest, as it was time they learned to fly… Putting my business I was building on the back burner as I adapted yet again to changes happening in our lives… Our lives, because for the first time it is just myself and my youngest son living this life together. Thankfully Daniel and I have always been close, he is growing up fast and will become a teenager in two short months! Challenges and more challenges in life…

Trials come and go… and yet somehow on a daily basis we each find a way to get through them. We have those certain people we talk to , confide in and also those that seem to guide us through life… God puts each person in our path for a reason and nothing is left to chance… It was destiny or we were destined to meet each one, to learn from, to love even if later they are not there anymore to guide us along our way… No one is there forever. But God… at least for me. He has been in my life for so long now 50 years to my memory.

I was born into a christian home, dysfunctional as it seemed to be, my parents believed in God. They were not perfect, but none of us are… We are all on a journey of growing and learning… I have never expected my parents to be perfect and though at times I held them to a standard that perhaps they didn’t know about and maybe they couldn’t meet up to… but they were there for me, My mom I often saw reading her bible when I was younger and my Dad though he had likes and hobbies he was always there to talk to, He on occasion taught at church and my mom taught sunday school when I was growing up. They had a small group of friends and when I look back, I know how blessed I was to grow up in the time I did… it wasn’t as crazy as today! But at the age of 6, I realized I was not perfect and that I needed the Jesus I learned of weekly to forgive me and guide me through this life. I had even at that age done wrong, disobeyed my parents and broken the commandments of God. Yes the 10 commandments you use to hear about, that no longer seem to be the guild others follow and the ones everyone want to cast aside as they muddle through this life wandering aimlessly. I don’t look back on my life like so many thinking that my parents raised me wrong, or that they were controlling, because really they were not… They were trying to guide me to becoming a better person. A person who lived rightly, someone who cared about the lives of others and who had enough faith to see me through this life. I don’t like kids of today think my mind was manipulated and controlled or that my parents were narcissistic, if you think us parents are to be live and let live with ou kids, I want you to know that letting you make your own choices constantly will bring you nothing but heartache and pain at times. If you think making your own mistakes is what you want, it might lead to your own lose in life or lose of life or at least one that is far harder than it has to be. I realize that somehow at the magic age of teenagehood, you all just somehow got far smarter then your aging parents and knew all there was to know about life and living it. But… I grew up in a time where we loved, honored and obeyed those in authority in our home. Not out of fear, but out of love for them. I am sure there were times they feel from grace (God’s grace) but we all do… It is not about being perfect. There are none perfect, except Jesus Christ himself. That same Jesus that my parents loved and had joy in reading about, praying to and depending on… Because when times were hard for them, us… that is who they turned to. It worked for them and for 50 years it has worked for me, no matter what the issues of life have been. I don’t know everything, nor do I claim to, but I do have 56 years of experience in this life, that tells me God is real to me, He knows what he is doing and that I can depend on Him and I believe so can you….

I know that we are facing what seems to be hard times… Illness has taken many from us and we are all wondering what the future holds… Some of us have lost our homes, our loved ones and have little to no food and the future seems uncertain, but today I want to encourage you to hold on and to have faith , find hope in the only one that really cares for you…

Right now I know who holds the future and as we wait out this election and the results, we need to put or faith and hope in someone that is sure and truly has our best interests at heart and that is God himself… Because he is faithful and dependable…

If you don’t know God I encourage you to seek Him, ask him to show himself to you in a real and personal way. Grab a KJV Bible and read John 3: 16 and read the new testament to get to know who Jesus is and what God can do for you and as always, if you need prayer leave me a comment or you can email me at faithfulacresbodysoulspirit@gmail.com

Blessings,

Linda Marie

God has not given us a spirit of fear…

God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind…

II Timothy 1:7

Regardless of how you feel about Trump, we are at across roads in this nation and without those that want to stand for freedom, liberty and justice, this nation would fail as a people and we have to as believers have Hope, elsewise we give our children no sign that we hope in our God when we don’t stand up for what is right

That is just how I feel today and have for over two years now… and I don’t intend to stop sharing, stop posting or stop speaking the truth to anyone who will listen and hear where my hope actually comes from.

So many Christian’s keep yelling Jesus is coming and so many are forgetting to just occupy like he said and they are worried afraid for their kids, grandkids and maybe even aging parents or grandparents, I hear it all the time. I will not siren the WW3 agenda… Biden is playing that up, that is one reason I say he is a fool and that it won’t come yet. WW3 isn’t going to utterly destroy this earth or people… Somehow we will go on and seek a better way of living as in times past… mostly because we were not raised to be quitters…

I keep telling myself I should be in the country getting ready to start seeds, plant a garden… showing my kids its still a time to live and be happy… not allowing anything or anyone to rob me of my Joy in the Lord

So when my son says to me last night.. How do you feel about the state of our world

I said I think we must remain calm , peaceful and be happy.

And he said I mean how do you feel about the Ukraine and war

And I repeated myself, We must remain calm , peaceful and be happy

And I will set that example before all, no matter what happens and I will not bow to terror or live in fear

To do anything less, to even worry or live in fear is to lack faith in God

The Guardian of the Saints Series by MaryLu Tyndall

My Thoughts

I just wanted to share with everyone about the Guardians of the Saints Series by MaryLu Tyndall. These two books have really gripped my attention. Her attention to detail and her knowledge of end times prophecy have really taken me as a reader to a greater understanding of how the spiritual realm interacts around us. I want to say that after a hard time even picking up a book after my dad had died and books being my business… When Angel’s Cry just blew me away… not only did it hold my interest but it was the first book that I had been able to read besides my bible for close to two years. MaryLu draws the reader into the story and makes you feel as if you living in these end times. In actuality, we are living in the end times and in 2017 when ” When Angel’s Cry ” was written, well it just was mind-boggling that it read like it was today! I could so relate to the characters as the names held meaning for me. Being a single mom of a son, I could relate to Angelica’s plight to protect and guide her son through such a difficult time and yet still want him to have a childhood. It touched my heart in so many ways… You will experience many emotions and have a tissue ready… Book 2 ” When Angel’s Battle ” didn’t disappoint me… I was challenged in my thinking of things going on around us today… There are only a few books that I have read that really gripped my heart and this series went beyond that. The Bible says ” you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”… and sometimes we would rather not face the truth, but I found so much truth in reading this series and I am so thankful for not only the Bible but also thankful for authors like MaryLu, who are not afraid to share the truth through Christian Fiction. These two books are a reading experience that you won’t want to miss! If you are looking for a great read with action, adventure, biblical truth, and some romance that is indeed swoon-worthy, you will love these two books in this series… I am really hoping that she writes a book 3!

Crying Out For Souls

Today this virus became more personal for me… As of today my nephew and his wife have this Coronavirus and their baby girl is at home with them in quarantine…

With so many sick and dying from this, it really gets to your heart when your own family has it and as I sent out a plea for prayer on their behalf today, It grieves me.  I am Mama to 7, Grandma to 11 so far…  and it is these souls that matter most to me!  But also the souls of those in this world that need to hear the truth of God’s Love and the peace that only he can give in the midst of this pandemic.  One that God calls pestilence and will be common in the end times.  It troubles my heart that so many do not know this peace and I long so share with anyone what the Lord has done for me and the joy and peace he has given me in the midst of trials and hard times.

It was just a little over a month ago that I myself was suffering from the Flu, best I can tell. Fever, Body Aches and Pains, Headache, Weakness, Fatigue for weeks and Sinus issues and coughing.  You know you don’t feel well and you somehow carry on and live life doing what is needed of you as a mom, wife, daughter, and friend to others. just because six of my seven children is grown and out of my home, doesn’t mean I do not worry about them, I think I worry just as much.  But I do trust the Lord to keep them and to sustain us through everything and I mean everything.  Love constrains me to feel for them when they are suffering or going through trials of their own.  I am also the mama of type 1 diabetic son and with the price of insulin and the lack of it, I pray and do war for him in a way, seeking those that are willing to pay it forward with supplies that save my son’s life daily. ( I will be always thankful for those folks, Angels who show up and say I can help)  Thankful to the Lord God for sending His Angels who have charge over us and bear us up, when we would be in such turmoil and need. We have done this trip of diabetes since he was 11 years old and now he is married to a wonderful wife and has 3 children of his own. This makes his life even more precious to them and to me… God is so merciful for blessing me with such a son, actually with 3 sons… and 4 daughters!

So when I feel overwhelmed by the trials and sickness of others and with the events of the day… it is to the Lord I am turning in prayer and in tears… Crying out  ” Lord Help Us All” and I am pleading the Blood of Christ over my children and I am recalling all these promises to me as a Mama and as a believer.  I know that God hears me and that my prayers don’t go answered.  I find my peace in prayer, in listening to godly music and in the reading of His Word.  Spending my time doing things that I know make a difference in the lives of my children and in the lives of others.  As a girl, I use to see my own Mom, reading the Word and Praying in our livingroom. This left an impression on me that this was the right thing to do growing up.  Not just because she did it, but because she drew from it her power to hold on in the hardest times of our lives.  When times got hard, when marriage got hard, she prayed and read the word.  She also sang and so music was always heard in our home. She would have on WMHR and we heard the Word preached and sang on a daily basis.  This also gives me great strength when I am worshipping the Father in Heaven. When I can praise Him through the pain I am feeling in this life and let his promises flow through me in song and find Him there with me.

Perhaps if you don’t know Him, you can’t feel his presence, but I assure you he is there and when we praise Him when we call upon Him, He is listening and hears each word, the faintest whisper, the silent tear fall…

If you don’t know Him, pray and ask Him to reveal himself to you in a personal way… All those that seek Him shall find Him and all those that call upon Him shall find Him faithful and All those that call upon His Name ( Jesus ) for Salvation, shall be saved.   No matter what we have done wrong in this life, Jesus is there waiting for you… He is there to forgive you when you are ready to repent and He is there to help you walk in Faith… All it takes is believing that He is who he says he is and that He will Forgive and Guide you into a life of joy and happiness. A life of peace with Him and with the Father and He will send the Comforter to guide you and give you the peace that only he can give you and in this life, it is the greatest peace you can ever find…

Praying for this illness to be gone…

Blessings

A Life Hidden in Christ

One of the biggest blessings that come from a life hidden in Christ is the security He gives you.

You don’t have to be in charge of dishing out justice or leveling the score. You don’t have to fret when someone gets what you want or doesn’t treat you like they should have.

And goodness, there is freedom in this. You can trust that the grace of Jesus has given you far more than you could ever articulate. If you really understand this grace, you’ll want to extend that grace to everyone.

Trust that having and being in Jesus is so much better than the bitter endeavor to set all things right. Trust that He is your Portion and that nobody can reduce that. Trust that His grace has covered more ugliness in you than you can even acknowledge.

Now that doesn’t mean you won’t battle some hard emotions about it. It means that when you do, His Spirit can transform these insecurities and help you walk through them. Ask Jesus for help.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 10:10
